Shouldn't you still be able to download these pictures from your memory card using a simple cheap card reader? mine is a Samsung S630, just bought it three days ago. my camera was like jamming when the lens tried to come out and saying lens error, so i tried forcing it out and ended up snapping the front of the lense I attemptedsome of the other methods but nothing reliable happened. Each time I tried to power up the camera I got "Lens Error, automatically shutting down - Restart Camera" - and it would turn off. I too thought my camera was done for as it was dropped on a hard floor and landed on the lens barrel. I decided that it was time to try one last fix on my own. For example: If I remove and replace the batteries, the camera will randomly turn on and give me this error message.
