Why are some programming languages Turing complete but lack some abilities of other languages? I finally fixed it by holding the "OK" button and turning the camera on. If it's too costly to repair, and you have no other option, you might want to consider retrying the last too fixes (tapping the camera, and forcing the lens). Why can a Gnome grapple a Goliath? Since all the companies have similar failure rates, it is illogical and unjustifiable for sfchris to single out Canon, when Nikon cameras have just as many problems. Matias,As mentioned, these fixes only seem to work for less than half of lens errors. Canon Powershot Sd750 Sd1100 I tried some of the things here but it is not working. Like I said, it turns on, but the lens only extends a tiny bit, and then the lens error comes up and it quickly turns off.
He says EVERY BRAND of digital camera will get a lens "jam" if the lens is opened while in a pocket or tight case and EVERY BRAND will get a lens I was sitting on the floor and it slipped from my hand while the lens was out. it turns on at picture model with the logo and then died.
