I turn the power on and makes a funny clicking noise like its trying to retract the lens back in. my camera was like jamming when the lens tried to come out and saying lens error, so i tried forcing it out and ended up snapping the front of the lense However, when I went to turn my camera on, facing downwards..
Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism. Unfortunately, many cameras that fall prey to this can only be corrected by professional repair.
