The GAC lets you share DLL's that are the same version number. You'd think after all these years the uninstall manager would handle this ****. HD4870... If, by some weird alignment of the stars, I do indeed end up figuring it out, I will certainly come here and post what I learned. The thing is i can find those keys, but i cannot uninstall them even tho i have admin rights.

I couldn't find the 1GB version drivers on AMD's website, but Sapphire tech had them. I'm able to run CCC by going to C:\Program Files (x86)\ATI Technologies\ATI.ACE\Core-Static and executing MOM.exe - after I do that, everything works correctly and icon appears in the taskbar. However, right after the reboot, CCC icon was gone from taskbard. Not normally on, but something that can be used if the user is having problems doing things normally. Laden... All three are running Win7 x64 with SP1.
Still no CCC loaded. No reboot needed either. When I try to repair the install I get a message about "issues" during the install and to check the log but it can't find the log file. I have a registry backup somewhere in my documents, so I will try loading that up tomorrow.
