Here are some techniques to try when your CD gets stuck in your car CD player. Before I read this post and started doing other internet research about the subject, I had resigned myself to buying another stock head unit on ebay. Then turn the ignition on and hold the eject button and wiggle the CD around.
They claim the entire unit, CD player, CRT, etc has to be replaced...no way I'm spending thousands of $$$'s just to listen to the CD player. This particular CD player has never skipped so if this is your problem, disconnecting the car battery may not work. Have you had any success yet? I left in the screw nearest the back The factory indash radio has 2 holes on each side of the front panel. I took out all of the fuses related to the radio (in my case it was fuses 27 and 29...check your manual...Leave them out at least a 1/2 hour per my Thanks for sharing!
