I guess I'm just being ignorant in assuming that if it was a successful method, that people would have mentioned it and the mystery would be gone by now. Did anyone ever resolve this?? It could also be Matshita drives. I have all the latest updates. CDs burn fine, but no DVD-Rs. Same error.
