That is why they put behind the clock speed a * or oc. The last 4 digits are your shipping BIOS. Any advice would be most appreciated! I unscrewed that standoff and found that the bare metal side was wedged firmly onto some connections that run from the CPU to the A1/A2 RAM slots.

Yes you should be able to drop in 2400 to 3866 and it should run by default run at 2133. The second I popped in a brand new CPU it posted first thing. I removed the two standoffs that were closest to the A1/A2 RAM slots and noticed something peculiar. Seems like slot b1 and b2 are faulty. it worked. Thanks man, this helped.
