Recently have been printing 4x6 color photos, probably around 60-70 the past couple of months, using the cassette. There is no service center near where I live, so I am really out of luck. This morning I got the 6A00 error message. There is no paper-jams, but I do see that the printhead does not move when I turn it on. Put the lid down plugged in and switch it onif that doesn't work thenTry cleaning the sponges.The “sponges” are 2 hard pieces of absorbing plastic or something of the like. If you are still under warranty then contact canon otherwise you may need to strip the printer covers off and clean all of the ink build up away from the mechanism Canon 6a00 I turned the printer back on and it works great!!BTW, Cannon did want me to send it for sevice too!!! Put it all back together and you are good to go.Some people have a difficult time getting the printhead out.
