I did everything up to the tapping step, which worked, however, when the lens finally opened I had no picture, it was just white. I had the same problem as holistic when trying to get the lens unstuck...the lens went back in after tapping the USB pad, but then the picture was all white on Casio Exilim cameras don't really have good dust/debris protection, and the focus motor gears are easy to get jammed up. There should not be anything else holding it in place. Try another card. First here's a video summary of most of these fixes, and following that a detailed text description of the fixes. Wish that I could give you some easy tips for fixing the error by opening the camera, but I'm afraid there is none.
